A few more details...
In addition to baton twirling skills, all of our classes will include stretching and exposure to basic dance technique. (Most often we will incorporate ballet and jazz technique with a little modern. Various dance specialists will teach a portion of class every month.) Baton twirling presents some unique challenges. In order to perform at the highest level, baton twirlers need to always be working on improving their personal level of fitness, flexibility and strength.

Students who are exceptionally serious about twirling should invest in private baton lessons and dance lessons through a dance studio.
